The Sales by Chain Over Time dashboard shows your sales trends broken out by chain, one week at a time. Instead of a line chart, this dashboard uses a pivoted matrix — chains down the rows, weeks across the columns — so you can scan for trends and spot anomalies at a glance.

Sales quantity by week, sales dollars by week

These matrix visualizations show cases shipped and sales dollars for each chain, broken out week by week over the selected time period. Use the Date Granularity filter to switch between weekly, monthly, and quarterly views. Use this view to flag specific weeks where a chain’s performance spiked or dipped, and correlate those movements with known business activity like promotions or new distribution.
