Edit product and store details in Dot reports with master data manager (MDM)
🚀 New Feature What’s new? Master Data Manager (MDM), an application that allows you to control how product and store information are displayed in your reports, is now available for Crisp at Dot. You can use MDM to update product and store details to make sure your reports reflect your current product offerings and match the way your organization internally refers to products and stores/regions. How do I see it? To use MDM (and other Crisp features like destination connectors), you need to create a link between your Crisp account and your DOT account. For instructions, see Connecting your Dot data to Crisp. For more on using MDM to edit product and store details, see Managing products and store groups with master data manager (MDM).
July 2025 updates
New ‘Sales Status’ filter allows you to focus your distribution analysis
🔧 Enhancement What’s new? On the Distribution Analysis > Customer Detail page, the new Sales Status filter allows you to pinpoint ‘no sales’ locations, where your product is live but not moving off the shelves, so you can take actions (like promotions, marketing support, shelf resets, etc.) to ignite demand. How do I see it?- Select the Distribution Analysis report > Customer Detail page.
- From the Sales Status drop-down menu, choose the status you want to use in your analysis.\

Removed weeks of supply by DC metrics
Deprecation What’s new? Previously, in tables by DC, we provided weeks of supply metrics by DC listed. However, for DOT, tracking weeks of supply by DC isn’t as reliable a measure for tracking supply chain health as tracking weeks of supply in aggregate because of the way DOT transfers and moves product through their network. We’ve made the following changes to reports and tables: Inventory Flow Analysis report-
DC Details page
- Removed the Weeks of Supply column from the table
- Added an aggregate Weeks of Supply tile to the top of the report
-
DC Trends page
- Removed the Weeks of Supply option from the Select a measure drop-down menu
-
Product Detail page
- In the table on this report, we now only display values in the Weeks of Supply column for aggregate rows, not individual DCs.
You can now drill-down to UPC on select reports
🔧 Enhancement What’s new? In product tables on the Performance Insights and Inventory Flow reports, you can now drill-down to the UPC level to help you more easily identify products and see performance for specific UPCs.June 2025 updates
Performance Insights and Distribution Analysis report enhancements
🔧 Enhancement What’s new? We made the following enhancements to Crisp at Dot reports to make it easier to review and filter reports and spot trends. Performance Insights report:- Product Detail page: We replaced the product line bar chart (which provided the same data as the table) with a sales over time line graph to help you more easily spot trends by product. You can select a product in the table to filter the line graph and see the specific product performance over time.
- Customer Detail: We changed the customer map to a bubble map, so you can more easily see data points and drill down to specific addresses.

- Supplier Trends: We added a YOY Sales Quantity Growth decomposition tree visualization to this report page to help you dig in to what’s driving sales growth. You can select the plus icon next to Sales Quantity YOY growth to see your sales broken down by different dimensions like product or brand, so you can get a deeper understanding of what’s behind your growth.\

- Expansion Summary: We increased the font size in the overview tiles to help you see the labels and values more easily.
- Product Detail: You can now hover over bars in the distribution gap visualizations and see more details about the distribution penetration.\

Dot normalized tables now available for destination connectors
🚀 New Feature What’s new? The data that powers the Crisp at Dot reports is now available as a data source for destination connectors. This Dot connector has additional data like category sales and expanded inventory, product, and sales metrics. How do I see it? When setting up a destination connector, you can now select tables from the Dot Foods Supplier normalized model (shown in the data catalog in the following image).\
May 2025 updates
Nothing major to report this month, but important work is happening behind the scenes.April 2025 updates
At risk and on hand metrics now more accurately reflect the most current data
🔧 Enhancement What’s new? Previously, the At Risk Current, On Hand Quantity****Latest, and **On Hand Amount Latest **columns on several reports (such as Item Detail), were displaying the value from the last complete week end date, rather than the latest value for a single day. To help you make more informed decisions based on the most current data, these columns now displays the latest daily values.
Report access issue resolved
🐞 Bug fix What’s new? We resolved an issue where sometimes users who had access to Crisp at DOT reports were incorrectly receiving a “Sorry you don’t have access…” error message and would have to refresh their browser to resolve this issue. The problem has been fixed and now users only receive this error message if they truly do not have access to reports. Some filters on Crisp at DOT reports now correctly use single selection
🐞 Bug fix Previously, the Select a Time Period and Lookback Period filter menus that appear on multiple Crisp at Dot reports had multi-select style buttons when only a single filter option could be selected. We have updated these filters to use radio style buttons, so you can more easily see that only a single option can be selected.
March 2025 updates
All Crisp at Dot reports now display the latest ‘Data through’ date
**What’s new? ** To help you understand when data was last updated, Crisp at Dot dashboards include a “Data through” date. We’ve updated the logic of this display date to ensure that it always displays the date data was last processed, even if there were not changes, so you know your data is up to date.Crisp at Dot Inbound Fill Rate report enhancements
**What’s new? ** We’ve made the following enhancements to this report:- Renamed the donut chart titles to be more easily understandable
- Fixed a typo in the In Full Status donut chart
- Changed Fill Rate % Order, On Time %, and Order in Full % to by Product Line instead of by Product Category
On some Crisp at Dot Inventory Flow report pages, you can now select the lookback period to improve weeks of supply estimations
**What’s new? ** We’ve added a drop-down menu to report pages that contain a Weeks of Supply metric which allows you to set the Lookback period. The lookback period determines how far back in time Crisp looks to estimate the weeks of supply. Adjusting this can help you fine-tine your inventory planning, allowing you to get insight into short-term fluctuations or plan more longer term. How can I learn more? For more information on how Crisp calculated weeks of supply, see the Weeks of Supply calculation details article.Crisp at Dot Inventory Flow > DC Detail page enhancements
**What’s new? ** We’ve made the following enhancements to this report page:- On Hand Amount Latest is now correctly formatted with a dollar sign, e.g. $14,000.00 not 14,000.00
- “Fill Rate %” is now renamed to “Inbound Fill Rate %”
- Inbound Fill Rate %, Orders on Time %, and Orders in Full % now have the “%” in the tile value, e.g. 93% not .93
All Crisp at Dot reports now include a year-to-date option in the time period filter
**What’s new? ** To allow you easily filter reports by year-to-date, we’ve added a new “Year-to-Date” option in the Select a Time Period filter on all reports.February 2025 updates
New At Risk metric on the Crisp at Dot Inventory Flow Analysis report
**What’s new? ** Dot created a new At Risk metric, that tracks product that is considered overstocked based on current sales and forecasts and is at risk of expiring. We’ve added the new at risk metric to the following report pages:- DC Details page: Added the At Risk Quantity Latest column to the Inventory by distribution center table and added an At Risk Quantity Latest option to the drop-down menu on the heat map
- Item Detail page: Added the following new columns to the product table- At Risk Quantity Current, At Risk Quantity PY, At Risk Quantity YOY %.
