Crisp provides Weeks of Supply (WOS) metrics on inventory dashboards for distributors (e.g., KeHE, UNFI, and Dot) and on Crisp Retail Analytics reports. Crisp calculates WOS as follows: You can adjust the lookback period used in the calculation using the **Weeks of Supply Lookback Period,****Lookback period, **or Weeks Lookback filters at the top of the dashboards/reports. Crisp uses historical average quantity rather than using on order or forecast data to create a forward looking calculation because not all retailers/distributors provide forecasting or on order data and we want to provide a consistent calculation across connectors. Using on hand quantity in this calculation (rather than both on hand and on order quantities) also provides greater certainty in the prediction, as it is based on current stock rather than what is anticipated.
