Business health

A high-level view of how your UNFI sales performance, velocity, and distribution are trending over time.
  • Year Over Year Sales: Compare your sales this year against the same period last year. Use the Select a Time Period filter to compare specific time frames and quickly spot growth trends or areas that need attention.
  • Year Over Year Velocity: Track how your products’ rate of distribution is changing year over year. Velocity metrics give you a view of performance independent of distribution changes — a useful signal for whether your products are gaining or losing momentum on shelf.
  • Year Over Year Distribution: Compare your distribution footprint to the same period last year. Quickly identify where you’ve gained or lost points of distribution over time and take action before gaps affect sales.

Dig deeper into your UNFI data. Filter by product, chain, geography, DC, and more to investigate trends, address issues, and uncover opportunities.
  • Sales: Evaluate your sales performance at any point in time. Monitor UNFI’s weekly shipments across SKUs, chains, stores, regions, and DCs to understand what’s driving your business.
  • Velocity: Monitor your products’ rate of distribution. Use this dashboard to benchmark performance across SKUs, regions, and time periods — and spot items that may need support.
  • Distribution: Understand how your distribution footprint contributes to your overall sales. Get an item-level view of where your products are — and aren’t — on shelf across the UNFI network.
  • Distribution Center Inventory: Get a daily snapshot of inventory levels across UNFI distribution centers. Use the weeks of supply metric to stay ahead of potential out-of-stock situations before they affect your retail availability.
  • Potential Lost Sales: Pinpoint where low inventory may be costing you revenue. This dashboard quantifies the sales impact of inventory gaps so you can prioritize action where it matters most. Available on the Natural data set only.
  • Fill Rate: Monitor your inbound fill rate performance to UNFI distribution centers. Identify areas where you may be over- or under-shipping and address service level issues before they affect your retail relationships. Available on Natural and Canada data sets.
  • Retention: Keep tabs on which stores are at risk of dropping your products. Crisp monitors shipment patterns to flag new, at-risk, and potentially lost points of distribution. Available on Natural and Canada data sets.
  • Chargebacks: Review your trade spend by comparing manufacturer chargeback totals against UNFI’s sales to each retailer. Use this dashboard to identify patterns, reconcile discrepancies, and find opportunities to improve profitability. Available on Natural and Canada data sets.
  • Spoilage Risk: Identify products at risk of expiring before they’re sold. Use this dashboard to take proactive action on high-risk inventory, reduce waste, and protect your margins. Available on Conventional and Natural data sets.
  • Category Performance: Understand your brand’s performance within your category across the UNFI network. Benchmark against the competition and identify where you have an opportunity to grow your share. Available on Conventional, Natural, and Canada data sets.
  • Distribution Expansion: Pinpoint where your category is growing and where your products have room to expand within the UNFI network. Use this dashboard to build a data-backed case for new distribution conversations. Available on Conventional, Natural, and Canada data sets.
  • Open Payables: View outstanding invoices and payment status with UNFI at a glance. A useful tool for your finance team to track what’s owed, identify overdue balances, and stay on top of accounts receivable. Available on Conventional, Natural, and Canada data sets.
  • Purchase Orders: Track purchase orders in real time to understand what UNFI has ordered, what’s been received, and what’s due or late. Use this visibility to plan ahead and align your supply chain. Available on Conventional, Natural, and Canada data sets.
