.pptx file with slides, tables, charts, and summary text.
How it works
Start a session with the PowerPoint agent (or ask your current agent to generate a presentation). Describe what you need:“Create a quarterly business review presentation for the snacks category with sales trends, top SKUs, and distribution changes.”The agent:
- Queries the relevant data models for the metrics and dimensions you requested.
- Structures the content into slides with titles, bullet points, tables, and charts.
- Generates a
.pptxfile and saves it to your session files. - Renders the deck inline in the chat as an editable slide carousel.
Reviewing the deck inline
When the agent finishes a deck, it appears in the chat as a slide carousel instead of a plain download link. From the carousel you can:- Page through slides with the previous and next buttons, the thumbnail strip below the stage, the ←/→ arrow keys, or the mouse wheel.
- Maximize the deck into a full-screen view. Click any slide, or the Maximize button next to Refine, to open it. Arrow keys and the mouse wheel work in full-screen too.
- Download the
.pptxfile directly from the carousel. - Refine the deck without leaving the chat — see below.
.pptx attachment that the agent did not render (for example, a deck you uploaded) still appears as a download file card.
What the agent produces
- Title slides with deck title and subtitle.
- Content slides with bullet points, bold labels, and supporting text.
- Data tables with right-aligned numeric columns for a professional layout.
- Bar / column / line charts with visible category-axis labels — every bar maps to a real business category label rather than a truncated placeholder.
- Executive summaries that synthesize the data into key takeaways.
Brand styling
If you have saved a brand design system, the presentation agent picks up your palette, fonts, logo, and motif automatically, so every deck stays on-brand without you describing the styling each time. You can also ask for a retailer-branded deck and the assistant applies the official kit directly. If no design system is saved, the assistant can walk you through creating one before building the deck.Tips for better presentations
Be specific about structure
Be specific about structure
Tell the agent how many slides you want, what each slide should cover, and what level of detail to include. For example: “Create 8 slides: 1 title, 1 executive summary, 3 for sales trends by region, 2 for top/bottom performers, 1 for recommendations.”
Reference your files
Reference your files
If you have already run an analysis in the session, tell the agent to use those results: “Use the sales data from the table above for the presentation.”
Request specific chart types
Request specific chart types
The agent can include bar charts, line charts, and pie charts in slides. Specify which type works best for each data point.
Iterate with refinement
Iterate with refinement
After the deck is generated, click Refine on the carousel to adjust individual slides, change formatting, or update data without regenerating the entire deck. The refine modal previews the deck slide-by-slide and edits the slide you are currently viewing — see Artifact refinement for the full flow.
Downloading the file
Use the Download button on the carousel, or open the file explorer to find the.pptx file. The file opens in Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, or any compatible application.
