Use Metric Packages
Instead of browsing All Metrics, start with a package that narrows the list:

| Most Popular | Default view — great starting point for everyday reporting |
| Top 25 | The most commonly used metrics, condensed |
| Top 1000 | A broader set when Most Popular doesn’t have what you need |
| Channel Metrics | Comparing Store Orig vs. Online sales |
| All Attributes Metrics | Assigning item facts like Class, Brand, or User Defined Attributes |
Use the Search Function
- Type part of the metric name — all matching metrics will appear.
- Spell out acronyms if the abbreviated version isn’t returning results (and vice versa).
- Add $ or Unit to your search to narrow between dollar and unit versions.
- Include modifiers like Reg, Promo, or Orig when searching for those specific variants.
If you’re not finding what you’re looking for, try flipping your approach — search the abbreviation if you’ve been typing the full name, or vice versa.
