# ChexSync™ Category Performance dashboard

> See how your products perform against the broader category at Chex.

The Category Performance dashboard shows how your products stack up against the category they belong to at Chex. Use it to gauge your impact on category growth and build a sell story for buyers, or to spot and address underperformance.

## Overview

### Category share

* **My Category Share YoY Change:** Percentage change in category share from the previous year over the selected time frame.
* **Category Share:** Your total category percent share over the selected time frame.
* **Category Share YoY:** The change in your category share compared to the previous year.

### Year-over-year change

* **Category YoY Percent Change, My YoY Percent Change:** The percent change in category sales and your sales, compared to the previous year.
* **Category YoY Change, My YoY Change:** The total dollar change in category sales and your sales, compared to the previous year.

### Sales

* **Sales over Selected Period:** Category sales and your sales over the selected time period, so you can compare your growth to category growth.
* **Category Sales, My Sales:** Totals for the category and for your products over the selected period.
* **Category Sales Change YoY, My Sales Change YoY:** Year-over-year dollar change for the category and for your products.

## Drivers

### Category sales by state, my sales by state

These heat maps show where category growth and your growth are high or low, so you can compare regional performance.

### Sales by state, sales by product, sales by subcategory

These sortable tables let you sort or export your performance by state, product, and subcategory.

## Details

This table shows change at the individual product-and-store level. Apply filters, then select the export option to get a list you can share with retail buyers or brokers.

## Filters

In addition to the standard filters described in [ChexSync™ overview](/docs/support/articles-Chex-Sync-overview), this dashboard includes:

| Filter                | Description                                                                                                                                                      |
| --------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Select a Time Period  | The time frame for assessing category share and year-over-year change. Time frames are fixed to allow for consistent comparison.                                 |
| Measure Selection     | View category share by volume (units) or sales (dollars).                                                                                                        |
| Subcategory Selection | Choose which subcategories to display. Excluded subcategories are also excluded from category calculations.                                                      |
| Product Selection     | View just your products, just other products in the category (excluding yours), or all products. Excluded products are also excluded from category calculations. |
